GNU social

GNU social is free software that runs decentralized social networks.

It was created originally as a social networking add-on for the music community site, Libre.fm — run by Foo Communications.

You can get involved! We are a small, dedicated group of developers working in the shadows of a larger project, StatusNet

You can try GNU social by getting your own server, or by signing up at http://daisycha.in/, a public site run by FCL.
